The Heybike Mars 3.0 represents a massive generational leap for Heybike’s legendary folding fat-tire platform. While the Mars 2.0 line felt like a standard budget-friendly folder, the Mars 3.0 crosses directly into "folding moped" territory.

Heybike completely re-engineered the bike into a high-performance, full-suspension speedster. It drops the old cadence sensors for a highly intuitive, lag-free torque sensor and features a locked-and-loaded powertrain capable of rocketing past 30 mph. It successfully merges compact, trunk-friendly portability with rugged, dual-suspension, trail-flattening capability.

• Power & Hot-Rod Speed: Driven by a muscular 750W nominal rear hub motor that peaks out at a wild 1400W and kicks out a hill-destroying 95Nm of torque (clipping from 0 to 20 mph in just 6 seconds). Natively configured as a 20 mph Class 2 or 28 mph Class 3 bike, it can be fully unlocked via the Heybike app to hit top speeds of 31 to 32 mph on pure throttle or pedal assist.
• The Torque Sensor Upgrade: Replaces the classic, delayed "lurch" of older cadence setups with a highly responsive torque sensor that measures exactly how hard you are stepping on the pedals to deliver smooth, instantaneous power.
• True Full Suspension: Delivers an incredibly plush ride over rough terrain by moving to a full-frame suspension setup. It pairs a hydraulic front suspension fork (with preload adjustment and mechanical lockout) with a Horst-link rear suspension system and 4-inch wide, high-volume Chao Yang fat tires.
• Battery & Safety Certification: Fully enclosed within the folding frame is a removable, lockable 48V 13Ah (624Wh) battery built to survive the elements with an IP65 water-resistance rating. It yields a maximum claimed range of 65 miles (around 35 miles under heavy real-world usage). The battery is UL 2271 certified, and the entire electrical system holds a premier UL 2849 certification.
• Brakes & Smooth Gearing: Upgraded to high-leverage hydraulic disc brakes paired with extra-thick 2.0mm, 180mm rotors for crisp, fade-free stopping power. Physical shifting is handled by an upgraded 8-speed Shimano Altus drivetrain with a rapid-fire trigger shifter.
• Heavy-Duty Folding Geometry: Built on a robust aluminum folding frame that scales in at 70 pounds. Despite its collapsible design, it boasts a tank-like 440-pound total payload capacity (with the structural rear rack rated for a stout 100 lbs). It easily adjusts to fit riders from 4'11" to 6'2".
• Next-Gen Smart Tech: Steps away from physical keys for a slick, automotive-grade NFC Proximity Tap-and-Go card startup. The cockpit features a vibrant, full-color TFT display with a USB-C device charging port, fully customizable motor tuning via Bluetooth, a physical horn, a high-output headlight, and integrated front and rear turn signals.
