The Specialized Globe Haul ST (Short Tail) is a premium, ultra-engineered masterclass in the compact utility e-bike space. Brought to life by cycling giant Specialized under their utility-focused Globe sub-brand, the Haul ST is built from the ground up as a rugged, uncompromising car-replacement vehicle.

Unlike many utility e-bikes that rely on generic, off-the-shelf components, Specialized custom-tuned every square inch of this machine—from the massive, overbuilt adjustable quill stem down to the proprietary flat-resistant tires. It masterfully balances a delightfully short, nimble wheelbase with a massive weight capacity and a hyper-responsive torque sensor that provides an exceptionally athletic, rocket-like ride quality.

• Power & Performance: Driven by a custom-tuned 700W nominal rear hub motor that peaks past a wild 1200W. Tied directly to a premium bottom-bracket torque sensor, it delivers some of the fastest, most instantaneous off-the-line acceleration in the utility class to confidently yank heavy loads up steep grades.
• Battery & Weatherproofing: Outfitted with a massive, frame-mounted 772Wh external battery featuring a robust IPX7 waterproof rating (meaning it can handle heavy downpours and deep puddles with ease) and full UL 2271 certification. It delivers a dependable real-world range of 30 to 60 miles per charge.
• Speed & E-Bike Class: Operates out of the box as a Class 3 speedster, providing smooth, linear pedal assistance up to 28 mph. It also supports a plug-and-play optional handlebar throttle that grants Class 2 operation, capping out at 20 mph on pure throttle.
• Drivetrain & Stopping Power: Managed by a crisp, low-profile 9-speed microSHIFT Advent drivetrain paired with a massive 50T chainring and an 11-36T cassette to completely eliminate ghost pedaling at high speeds. Dropping anchor is handled by elite Tektro HD-T535 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes clamped onto oversized 203mm rotors front and rear for total stopping confidence under load.
• The "One-Size-Fits-All" Geometry: Features an incredibly versatile, accessible step-through aluminum frame engineered using Specialized's deep Retül biometric database. Thanks to a dual-stage telescoping seatpost (13 inches of adjustability) and a heavy-duty quill stem (6 inches of vertical travel), the single-size frame perfectly adapts to fit riders anywhere from 4'5" to 6'4".
• Wheels & Heavy-Duty Rubber: Rolls on stiff, low-gravity 20-inch double-wall alloy wheels wrapped in custom 20x3.5-inch Specialized "Carless Whisper" Reflect tires.
