The Lectric XPedition 2.0 Dual Battery takes the heavy-duty utility of the single-battery model and multiplies its stamina, making it a legitimate alternative to a second car. It retains the same structural and mechanical upgrades that define the 2.0 generation—such as the high-precision torque sensor for a smooth, natural pedal assist and a front suspension fork—but eliminates any trace of range anxiety. By utilizing a smart-draining battery isolator, it draws from both power sources simultaneously, keeping your voltage higher for longer so you maintain top-tier hill-climbing performance even when hauling heavy cargo across town.

The Technical Snapshot

The Dual Battery setup is driven by a quiet 750W Stealth M24 rear hub motor (1310W peak) churning out 85Nm of torque. In its standard configuration, it packs two 48V 13Ah batteries (26Ah / 1248Wh combined) to yield an impressive maximum range of up to 120 miles—though you can opt for the Long-Range Dual Battery upgrade (35Ah / 1680Wh) to push that range up to a massive 170 miles. It is an adjustable Class 1, 2, or 3 bike capable of hitting 28 mph, controlled safely by a Shimano Altus 8-speed drivetrain.

To manage its 80.7-pound weight and heavy loads, the bike is equipped with powerful hydraulic disc brakes clamping down on a 203mm front rotor and a 180mm rear rotor. The ride is cushioned by a Courier 50 dual-spring suspension fork (50mm travel) and rolls on 20x2.5-inch puncture-resistant street tires with Slime pre-installed. It retains a monstrous 450-pound total payload capacity (with 300 lbs allowed on the integrated rear rack) and comes fully loaded with a backlit color LCD display featuring a USB-C port, a left-side thumb throttle, an integrated passenger wheel shroud, and an upgraded safety lighting package.
