RadRunner Plus

The Rad Power Bikes RadRunner Plus is the fully optioned, passenger-ready evolution of Rad's legendary utility platform. While the base RadRunner focuses on stripped-down single-speed minimalism, the Plus model brings vintage moped-style flair and premium performance upgrades directly out of the box.

It solves the two biggest limitations of the standard model by adding an adjustable front suspension fork and a 7-speed Shimano drivetrain, allowing you to confidently tackle steep hills even with a passenger on the back. Featuring a beautiful retro-inspired aesthetic with faux-leather grips and a matching saddle set, it arrives completely outfitted with full fenders, an upgraded lighting package, and a complete rear passenger kit so you can share the ride immediately.

• Power & Performance: Motored by a robust, custom-tuned 750W geared rear hub motor pushing out 70Nm of torque, offering plenty of low-end grunt to accelerate from a dead stop with two riders on board.
• Battery & Safety: Equipped with an external, lockable 48V Safe Shield Advanced Battery (UL 2271 certified). It utilizes Rad's signature thermal potting resin to encapsulate individual cells and prevent overheating hazards, yielding a realistic real-world range of 25 to 55+ miles (and supports a plug-and-play range extender bottle battery for up to 120+ miles).
• Drivetrain & Gears: Features a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain paired with a wide 11-34T freewheel. This is a massive upgrade over the base model, giving you the necessary mechanical advantage to pedal comfortably up steep inclines or maintain a natural cadence at top speed.
• Brakes & Suspension: Stopped predictably by premium hydraulic disc brakes clamped onto 180mm rotors for smooth, immense stopping power under heavy loads. Rough pavement and road chatter are absorbed by an Exsho 65mm travel front suspension fork featuring preload adjustment and mechanical lockout.
• The Stock Passenger Package: Arrives with Rad’s complete passenger ecosystem pre-installed: an elevated rear seat pad that aligns beautifully with the driver's saddle, flip-down passenger foot pegs, and a protective plexiglass wheel skirt to keep feet and clothes safely clear of the rear spokes.
• Tires & Dimensions: Rolls on high-volume, custom-engineered 20x3.3-inch Kenda all-terrain tires with puncture protection and reflective sidewalls. It weighs 77 pounds fully dressed and supports a robust 300-pound total payload capacity (with the rear deck rated for 120 lbs).
