The Ride1Up Roadster V3 (Chain + Suspension Version) is the ultimate realization of a stealthy gravel-commuter hybrid. It takes the multi-speed capability of the chain version and pairs it with a premium front air fork and an adjustable stem.

While adding front suspension usually causes an e-bike to balloon in weight, this model manages to sneak in at just 40 pounds. This version swaps out the standard rigid setup for specialized gravel hardware, transforming a fast city fixie-style bike into a highly capable machine that floats over rough brick roads, nasty potholes, and light gravel trails without losing an ounce of its signature agile handling.

• The Suspension Upgrade: The headline change is a specialized Trama 35mm travel gravel air suspension fork with a 12mm thru-axle. While 35mm sounds minimal compared to a mountain bike, it is the perfect sweet spot for a fast commuter—absorbing high-frequency road vibration and square-edged cracks without making the front end feel heavy or mushy.
• Power & Performance: Driven by the ultra-quiet 500W Mivice angled-gear rear hub motor generating 50Nm of torque. Driven by the Bosch-engineered Intui-Drive torque sensor, the power delivery feels completely natural, responding seamlessly to how hard you push the pedals.
• Drivetrain & Speed: Outfitted with a clutched 9-speed microSHIFT Advent drivetrain (11-36T cassette paired with a 44T front chainring). This multi-speed setup lets you confidently conquer steep inclines and unlocks a true Class 3 top speed of 28 mph on pedal assist (and 20 mph via the left-hand thumb throttle).
• Battery & Range: Completely conceals a lockable, removable 36V 10Ah (360Wh) UL-certified Samsung-cell battery flush inside the downtube, netting a real-world range of 20 to 40 miles (expandable with Ride1Up’s plug-and-play bottle battery).
• Tires & Cockpit: Rolls on rugged, high-traction 700x45c Continental Terra Trail gravel tires. The cockpit features a massive quality-of-life upgrade: a 0-90 degree adjustable stem that allows you to easily transition from an aggressive, aerodynamic forward lean to a relaxed, upright riding posture while maintaining fully hidden internal cable routing.
• Brakes & Extras: Stopped predictably by Tektro 2-piston hydraulic disc brakes (160mm rotors). It comes fully commuter-ready with a 1.3-inch VeloFox OLED display, full alloy fenders, a piercing 120-lux front headlight, and a rear light cleanly integrated right into the fender.
