The Macfox X7 is a retro, mini-moto style scrambler explicitly designed for riders who prioritize bold street styling, stunt-ready durability, and casual neighborhood cruising. Affectionately dubbed the "little monster of the road" by its engineering team, the X7 leans heavily into the moped-inspired aesthetic made popular by brands like Super73.

Instead of a delicate commuter frame, Macfox built the X7 on a heavy-duty, high-carbon steel chassis engineered to take a beating, roll over jumps, and handle a little daily abuse. It pairs an entry-level, street-legal motor with a single-speed drivetrain and some of the widest fat tires available on the market, aiming squarely at teens, beginners, and urban thrill-seekers.

• Power & Street-Legal Drive: Powered by a 500W nominal rear hub motor that peaks out at 750W. It functions as a single-speed setup (no mechanical gears to shift or drop) combined with an adjustable thumb throttle and 5 levels of pedal assist, giving it a simple, twist-and-go scooter feel.
• Speed & E-Bike Class: Operates out of the box as a legal Class 2 e-bike topping out at a regulated 20 mph (though some variants can be unlocked via the display to reach a clip of up to 25 mph). It focuses more on immediate off-the-line torque for fun acceleration than blistering top speeds.
• The Wide-Boy Tire Setup: Stands out with a massive, asymmetrical fat-tire footprint. It rolls on a heavy-duty 20x4.5-inch front tire paired with an ultra-wide, moto-style 20x5.0-inch rear tire—providing incredible lateral stability, pavement grip, and a heavily planted stance for pulling wheelies or carving corners.

However, the frame features plug-and-play wiring to add an optional secondary battery pack, effectively doubling your range up to 60 to 70 miles.

• Frame, Stance, & Sizing: Built around a rugged high-carbon steel frame coated in a stealthy matte finish, featuring a long, 24-inch extended moped saddle with a 30-inch seat height. The bike is heavy, scaling in at a hefty 87 pounds, but supports a robust 330-pound maximum weight capacity.

The Sizing Warning: Because the long scrambler-style seat is completely fixed and cannot be vertically adjusted, choosing the correct frame size is critical. The standard X7 is best tailored for shorter riders and teens from 4'11" to 5'9". If you are on the taller side, you will want to look specifically at the Macfox X7L variant, which stretches the frame layout to properly accommodate riders up to 6'1" or 6'6".
